GIS is responsible for daily deployment and coordination of the addressing verification fieldwork, as well as the daily GIS operations and maintenance functions.  This includes assigning tasks, coordinating contracts for data and applications development, and performing specialized GIS analysis on an as-needed basis.  Also included in the responsibilities of the GIS department are data updates, maintenance, and analysis requests for the GIS and ARC/INFO system.
