The County of Augusta is accepting applications for a Combination Inspector for the Inspections Department.
Candidate must have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work, at least 3 years experience in general building construction and to become certified as a combination inspector within 36 months from date of employment, and ability to deal with citizens and co-workers. This position may be required to be on call and will be provided a county vehicle when on call.
The position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and a valid Virginia Driver’s license.
The County offers an excellent fringe benefit package including retirement, group life, health insurance, PTO leave. Starting salary is $47,216 annually.
