The County of Augusta strives to involve persons from as many segments of our community as possible in the policy making and administrative functions of local government. The County seeks to ensure opportunities for broad citizen participation in local government on the basis of merit and fit and is committed to fair and practical methods of recruitment and selection. The Board of Supervisors is interested in seeking candidates for appointment to Boards and Commissions. A list of the boards and commissions is below and it is also available at the County Administrator’s Office and the Augusta County Public Library along with applications for interested citizens.

Citizens interested in learning more about serving on a County Board or Commission or who wish to contact Boards or Commissions representatives may contact the County Administrator’s office or your Magisterial District Supervisor.
