• Fall Household Hazardous Waste Event
• Augusta County Fair Recycling Booth
• Sweet Dreams Recycling Booth
• Roadside litter pick-up:
  • Litter Control Program through the Commonwealth's Attorney Office
  • VDOT's Adopt - A - Highway Program

•  Stream/River Clean-Up Projects - Many non-profit organizations lead clean-up events. 

There are many school clubs, such as the Environmental Club, Key Club, and National Honor's Society that volunteer at many events to fulfill club point requirements.  We have also had many Boy Scouts volunteer for credit towards community service.  Ruritan Clubs help with many events including the Spring Clean-Up and Fall Household Hazardous Waste Event.
