Valley Program for Aging Services (VPAS) is the local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for the Central Shenandoah Valley, including the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro, and the County of Augusta.
The VPAS mission is to empower adults 60 years and older with the resources and opportunities they need to lead engaged lives.
VPAS services include: information, referral and assistance, case management services, Medicare insurance counseling; respite services, meals on wheels, health and wellness programs, cafes which include a congregate meal, and transportation services.
Cafes and Aging with Confidence programs are offered throughout the Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County communities and can be reached at 540-942-1838.
