Kyle Powers joined the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in 2016. While with the office, he has covered a wide variety of cases, from traffic offenses to murders. Kyle has also been appointed as Special Prosecutor in a number of cases in the counties surrounding Augusta County. While in law school, Kyle spent time interning for the Waynesboro Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office as well as for the judges for the twenty-first Judicial District of Virginia. He was born and raised in the City of Waynesboro and returned to the area in 2014 to practice law. Upon his return to the area, he worked in private practice, with a focus in criminal defense. Mr. Powers serves as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Augusta County as an undertaking to serve and protect the community in which he was raised.

Holly Rasheed interned in the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015. After graduating from University of Richmond School of Law, she returned to the office as a Bridge to Practice Fellow in the fall of 2016. Before becoming an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, Holly worked as an Associate at the law firm of Nelson, McPherson, Summers & Santos, L.C. in Staunton. In March of 2017, Holly began working as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Augusta County. Holly specializes in the prosecutions of DUI cases, traffic fatalities, and other drug-related crimes.

Caleb S. Kramer

Caleb joined the Augusta County Commonwealth's Attorney's office in January 2018. Before joining the office, he served as a Magistrate in the City of Emporia and the counties of Greensville and Sussex. During law school, Caleb worked for the United States Coast Guard in its J.A.G. department. 

As well as serving as a full-time prosecutor, Caleb heads up a first-in-Virginia pre-charge diversion and litter control program. This groundbreaking program seeks to increase the efficiency in the criminal justice system by diverting low-level, first time offenders away from the traditional courts system. This program gives these offenders the opportunity to perform community service by picking up litter around Augusta County in lieu of receiving a charge. 

Hannah Harris

Hannah Harris was born and raised in Augusta County. After graduating from Riverheads High School, she attended Ferrum College and received an undergraduate degree in business and accounting, summa cum laude. Ms. Harris attended Liberty University School of Law, where she was the Articles and Book Review Editor for the Law Review, participated in the Top Gun Trial Team for four semesters, and was chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. She interned with Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office the summer between her 2L and 3L year and also participated in the Legal Aid Clinic during her 3L year. After passing the Virginia State Bar exam in October 2020, Ms. Harris worked for Wharton, Aldhizer, and Weaver, as a litigation associate. She joined the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in July 2021. Her favorite thing in the entire world is to watch the New York Yankees play baseball and yell at the TV as if the players can hear her, just as her grandfather, Larry Harris, taught her.

Katie Jackson

Katie Grimm joined the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in 2021. She handles cases in the Juvenile & Domestics Relations Court, the General District Court, and the Circuit Court. While in law school, Katie spent time interning for the Circuit Court judges for the City of Bristol, Virginia and the United States Army JAG Corps. Katie also worked under her 3rd year practice certificate for the City of Findlay’s Prosecutors Office in Findlay, Ohio. She was born and raised in Augusta County and returned to the area in 2018 to practice law. Upon returning to the area, she served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, primarily prosecuting cases in their Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court. Katie is excited to serve the area in which she was raised. In her spare time, Katie provides individual softball pitching instruction to the local youth, and she serves on the board of the Augusta Regional ASPCA.

William Sukovich

Will joined the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office in September 2022.  During law school he was a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution club that helped local courts conduct mediations. Will also was a clinical law student for the WVU College of Law Immigration Law Clinic, where he provided legal representation, advocacy, and assistance to individuals on a wide array of immigration matters. Will interned with Haynes Law Group in Charlottesville during his summers in law school. After taking the Virginia State Bar exam, Will worked as a legal assistant with Haynes Patrick Law Group until he was promoted to associate when he passed the bar exam in October 2021. While with Haynes Patrick Law Group, he handled criminal, immigration, civil, family, and estate planning matters. In his spare time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and their three cats.

Alexander Cattermole

Alexander joined the Augusta County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in 2023. During law school, Alexander interned for the criminal defense firm, Abom & Kutulakis, LLC, of Carlisle, PA, and the Animal Law Unit of the Virginia Attorney General’s Office. Additionally, he worked as a student associate for Wake Forest’s Environmental Law Clinic. Alexander is originally from Berks County, Pennsylvania and between college and law school spent time in South Africa as a recipient of USA Rugby’s Shanagher-Morrison Referee Scholarship.
