If interested in becoming a Volunteer:
Thank you for your interest in Augusta County's Volunteer Fire-Rescue Services! Augusta County Emergency Personnel work together to provide Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Care to the citizens.
Each of our volunteer agencies has a primary run area of the county in which they respond to emergency calls. The area fire-rescue services is also trained in hazardous material incidents, vehicle extrication, water rescue, and much more.
To join a volunteer fire department or rescue squad in Augusta County, start by filling out an application and mailing it to Lieutenant Minday M. Craun, Volunteer Coordinator for the Augusta County Fire-Rescue System. (contact below)

Motor Vehicle Record Check (only for people wanting an active membership) MVR
Please fill out the above information and mail it to Minday Craun, P.O. Box 590, Verona, VA 24482 or drop by our offices at 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, VA 24482. Lieutenant Craun will take care of the Motor Vehicle Check then forward to the agency of your choice.
